Navacerrada is a town in the Community of Madrid located in the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, 52 kilometers from Madrid Capital. The beginnings as a settlement date back to before the Reconquista, when cattle ranchers from Segovia took advantage of the small plain left at the foot of the mountain range to settle there. Later, Alfonso X the Wise united the town of Manzanares el Real with 19 other towns, including Navacerrada, under the name of El Real de Manzanares. Near the town of Navacerrada there is a mountain pass with the same name that divides the provinces of Madrid and Segovia. In the mid-twentieth century, Navacerrada's main development took place, with slow but sustained growth. Taking advantage of both the attractiveness of its urban heritage and its natural surroundings, Navacerrada managed to attract both tourists and occasional visitors looking to get away to explore it. With a ski resort at the port of Navacerrada, winter sports lovers have a good reason to come in the winter season and also enjoy this town and its surroundings, which also have excellent typical Castilian cuisine. This single-family house is located at the entrance to the town of Navacerra next to its reservoir on an individual plot of 1,326 meters, on its façade is the entrance to the garage and a terrace, on the side there are stairs to the main entrance through which we enter a hall from which in front we access a living room with fireplace, access to the terrace and also access to the large kitchen with pantry and a secondary room with a bathroom, this in turn can be used as a guest bathroom. From the hall we have in front of us on the right another door that separates the stairs that give access to the upper and lower floors where we find the garage, the boiler room and a couple of large rooms to make bedrooms, a wine cellar, workshop, bathroom, pantry... From the hall on the right we go through a corridor to three bedrooms, at the end of which is the main one with dressing room and bathroom en suite, to the right a bedroom and a full bathroom and to the left the bedroom that connects to the kitchen. By the stairs we go up to the upper floor where there is a room with bathroom included and study area, a small attic taking advantage of the under-roof and a games room with a terrace overlooking the garden. Navacerrada is located less than an hour by car from Madrid and approximately an hour by bus. From the Moncloa interchange, in the western part of the city, there are several intercity buses heading to the mountains. The Puerto de Navacerrada station can also be reached by train from Cercedilla.
